From childhood I was into science. Throughout primary and junior high school my favourite subjects were maths and physics - mainly because of wonderful teachers to whom I am very grateful. In high school my adventure with programming began. I applied at Warsaw University of Technology for informatics as a primary choice and biomedical engineering as a backup. Unfortunately (or quite the contrary?) I didn’t make it for informatics and decided not to try again in the future and started studying biomedical engineering. As the study programme didn’t provide much programming I had to learn mostly by myself and also sign for additional lectures from informatics which combined with hard work and successful participation in BEST Hacking League hackathon converted to my first real job as a programmer.
Professionally I mostly specialise in web applications - especially backend services. I landed in this area probably because of the Warsaw BEST Hacking League hackathon where I was a part of “backend group” in my team. I will write more about this experience in another article.
I treat programming a bit like an art - and source like kind of a story. What comes from it is my higher interest towards higher-level languages like java, kotlin or python in which I write most of my applications. I like “clean code” although I claim that is a subjective matter and every programmer can understand it their own way - everyone is a little different implementation of CleanCodeProgrammer interface.
On this site I would like to introduce myself, my projects and passions. Happy browsing!
